Product description
Everbuild's XL Fire Cement Buff is a high temperature resistant filler which when fully cured, creates a durable gas tight seal.
Heat resistant up to 1250oC, the XL range of cements can withstand any domestic or commercial application but at Glowing Embers we recommend using it on the connections between Vitreous Enamelled flue, the connection to the stove itself and around the Register Plate.
Available ready mixed in 500g, 1kg, 2kg and 5kg tubs, this cement is quick drying (only four hours when gently heated) and can be stored for up to twelve months.
Although able to withstand higher temperatures when compared to a standard 300oC silicone, Fire Cement lacks the flexibility these products offer and will need replacing should any cracks appear.
